Custom Made Sails in Britain
Since 1971 Westaway Sails have been manufacturing quality sails for racing, cruising, spinnakers and chutes. We only use the best available fabrics and hardware, making all our sails in-house at our Plymouth sail loft and all that we learn from our development and testing at the Grand Prix racing track are passed down to benefit all our customers.
By using the latest sail technology combined with over 40 years of skilled craftsmanship our sails have come to be relied upon for many of Britain’s leading professional sailors and countless leisure sailors all over the UK. Our sails have won numerous races and completed many circumnavigations with both professional and amateur captains at the helm.
This means you too can be confident you are getting the best quality, durable sails possible – be it the right sail cloth for your vessel or ultra violet protection – made by some of Britain’s best sail craftsmen and regularly lasting for 15 years or more.
