Westaway wins Melges 24 Nationals

John Pollard came first in the hotly contested 2007 Melges 24 National Championships held at the 2012 Olympic venue in Weymouth on 28–30 September.

Westaway prepares for Azores and Back

Five sets of sails from Westaway's sail loft are to be tested across the Atlantic as the Azores and back race starts from Cornwall.

The race – which starts from Falmouth on Saturday (2 June 2007) will have 41, primarily amateur teams taking part in the 2,500 mile course, five of which will have sails designed and made by Westaway Sails based in Ivybridge.
