Almost all of the team at Westaway Sails are keen sailors at both racing and cruising. Our staff have completed thousands of miles sailing and passage making and have won numerous National and International championships in a variety of classes.
The team is headed by top British Melges 24 sailor John Pollard, who competes regularly on the international circuit and has also won numerous championships in other classes.

We are now proud to announce that Adam Taylor aka Adz has taken on the role of Loft Floor Production Manager. Adz has been with Westaway Sails for 5 years working on the loft floor on all aspects of manufacturing & repair. |

Jamie Watts joins the sales team offering advice and solutions to all customers. Jamie from Plymouth is a keen and knowledgeable sailor who you will see regularly at events around the South West – he has been previously involved with manufacturing and repair of Westaway sails. Westaway Sails has appointed James Kemp as our Wales agent. James is a keen offshore sailor and experienced racer originally from Plymouth is now based in Milford Haven.
James will be available by email or telephone to offer advice on new sails or alterations and maintenance. For new sails James will be able to visit (in South Wales) to measure the boat and spars thus ensuring that sails made by Westaway will fit and set correctly. James will also be able to arrange collection and delivery for any existing sails and canvas for any alterations, repairs, servicing or washing requirements.
